After a long struggle, the HLT-5075S is now out of my home and in its place, the LN46B550. While I prefer the additional real estate of the 50” TV vs the 46, I must say having the warranty issue from hell finally closed is a relief.

After sleeping on a siesta sak for about a year now after we kicked our Sleep Number bed to the curb we finally said “enough”. Waking up stiff or not sleeping well can’t go on forever. Since we need to move into our dining room (hey, we have a 2 bedroom house) we are making a bit of a project out of it. As a result, we decided to go with a Coaster Isabella king bed with an Englander mattress set. The bed is beautiful, and we can’t wait for it to be delivered.
If you’ve been following, you know how long this has been going on. It has nearly been a year since I called in for warranty repair on the TV, after a year of the TV not functioning from the time it was first repaired. Samsung called late last week and let me know that the TV was back ordered and I would be getting a call from a shipping company within a few days (again). We’ll see how this goes, I suppose.
